Members of Working Groups 2 and 3 met to advance on work of the different tasks

15 April 2019

During two days, from 4 to 5 April, the members of the Working Groups 2 and 3 of the OMEGA-NET Cost Action met in Stockholm, Sweden, to advance on work of the different tasks. Three invited speakers gave plenary talks. Noah Seixas and Trevor Peckham, from the University of Washington, spoke of theoretical and methodological considerations for research on precarious employment. Per Gustavsson, from the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) showed how to use routinely collected data for improved exposure assessment, specifically on night work.

On the second day, Roberto Leombruni from the University of Torino (Italy) illustrated the work done on the framework of the WHIP-Salute database.  Working group members also met to plan the ongoing and future work of the COST Action including having detailed discussions on both meeting days regarding several protocols and position papers currently under development.

Next meeting will take place in Zagreb (Croatia), in the next October, to see the continued achievements of the Working Groups.
