More and more people know about the OMEGA-NET Project as it is presented in both academic and research spheres, such as the 11th European Public Health Conference which took place in Ljubljana (Slovenia), from 28 November to 1 December 2018. During the meeting, entitled “Winds of change: Towards new ways of improving public health in Europe”, Dr. Ingrid Sivesind Mehlum, Chair of the OMEGA-NET Project, talked about this COST Action and its goal of creating a network to optimize the use of occupational, industrial, and population cohorts at the European level.

The annual EPH conferences are considered the premier European gatherings of public health professionals worldwide. Delegates include researchers, policymakers, practitioners and educators in public health and many other related fields. The 12th edition will be held in Marseille (France) and will focus on “Building bridges for solidarity and public health”.
