From 29 April-4 May, Dublin (Ireland) hosted the 32nd Triennial Congress of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) where Ingrid Sivesind Mehlum, Chair of the OMEGA-NET Project, presented the COST Action that started on 26 October 2017 and will end four years later.
This collaborative work will provide a foundation for an enhanced evidence base for the identification of health risks and gains related to occupation and employment, explained Silvesind, and that will foster safe and healthy preventive strategies and policies.
She also mentioned the 28 participating COST countries (27 of the 36 European COST Member States), the international partners, such as Australia, and the several working groups, their members and their goals.
